Q: Is this a genuine opportunity? A: Yes. This is a formal legal agreement between Stadium FC and CD Leganés to develop Indian talent. There are no "shortcuts" in selection —only merit. All programs and events are directly authorised and managed by CDLeganes officially.
Q: What benefit will the "Talent Scholarship" event bring to me? Q:How is this camp different and why should I join this event? A: This event is held directly under the umbrella of CD Leganes Club! UEFA club coaches from club are coming to lead the event and select 2 best talented players ! If you have the "potential" you may get selected for the 2 week "Training Scholarship" !
Q:How is this event BETTER than other "High Intensity Camps" by other Academies in India ? A: Compared to the other so-called "High Intensity" camps of other Indian clubs, which are normally led by coaches who don't have the world-view of youth development, this event is lead by 1 UEFA-Pro & 1 UEFA-A licensed coaches from CD Leganes who have strong experience in Europe and around the globe of identifying & developing talent ! They have seen and know how best players are actually developed in Europe and during the event they will give you exposure to the actual training methods used in CD Leganes Youth Academy and will give you the TRUE picture of your potential and pathway you should work on ! No False dreams ! Just bare Truth! Post event, you get a chance to have one-on-one with these coaches too!
Q: Where are the trials held? A: The primary Discovery Trials are held at the Stadium FC Coaching Centre in Bangalore.
Q:What age groups are you scouting? A: We are primarily focusing on the 13 to 19 age brackets for the Spanish scholarship program.Please see the "Birth Year" in the Event Details on this page.
Q. I don't live in Bangalore. Is any accommodation available? A. If you are from outside Bengaluru and do not have your own arrangement for stay , Stadium FC has tied up with stay-providers for the event and sharing accommodation with other players coming from out of Bengaluru at 'budget' & 'premium' levels is available on chargeable basis. Please contact us for full details.
Q: Who pays for the 2-week scholarship in Spain? A: The top selected talents from our trials receive a 100% "training scholarship". They do not have to pay for the training! They pay only for the Visa, travel & full board cost.
Q. Is there a separate group for Female players and is the Scholarship available for Female Players also ? A.Yes. The Scholarship is available to both Male & Female players, based on "development potential" of a player as assessed by CD Leganes Coaches. However there is no separate group for players. They will train together with Male players as one group.
Q. What happens in the 2 week Training Scholarship visit to Spain? A.The selected players will get to train along with the players in the CD Leganes International Youth Academy. If players are good, they will get a chance to be part of one of the Leganes teams and participate in a friendly match. More details on training will be provided by the visiting coaches from the club.
Q. If I am not selected for Scholarship, can I still go to CD Leganes Academy ? A.For players who could not get selected for Scholarship, they have 2 options to gain the CD Leganes training: i) Join the "Stadium FC Elite Program" in Bangalore which will be guided by inputs from CD Leganes. The program has limited seats and Admissions for year 26-27 are already on ii) Join a 2 week training visit on full cost paid basis , which will be launched later as part of the StadiumFC collaboration with CD Leganes. This group is expected to leave in September/October 2026.
Q. How is this opportunity different from other "international Trials / Trips" advertised by other clubs ? A. Stadium FC, since 2009, is committed to Youth Development in India and is a registered club with Karnataka State & AIFF with many Championships awards under its belt !
